WELCOME TO A NEW ERA: BIGGER EVENTS, GREATER REWARDS

September 22, 2025

Dear Players,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the new season of the MENA Golf Tour. As we prepare to embark on an exciting schedule of events, I want to share with you some important updates on our Qualifying Schools, player exemption categories, and the first tournaments of the season.

Introducing the Q Series

We are delighted to announce the launch of two Qualifying Schools, known as Q Series 1 and Q Series 2.

• Q Series 1 has been designed with accessibility in mind, offering a lower entry fee of $200.

• Q Series 2, played just prior to our season opener in Portugal, will feature a $50,000 prize fund and a higher entry fee.

Both stages will be played over 36 holes in the same Portuguese region as the opening tournament, giving players a seamless start to their season.

Rewarding Loyalty and Past Success

We have introduced new exemption categories to recognise and reward those who have supported the MENA Golf Tour in the past:

• Winners of Tour events since 2019 will receive exemptions.

• The top 30 players from the last published Order of Merit are also exempt.

• In addition, returning members will benefit from a discounted membership fee.

Season Opener in Portugal and Egypt Swing

Our season will begin in Portugal before moving to Egypt in mid-January. The Egyptian swing will be followed by a further Q Series event, giving new members and those looking to improve their ranking another chance to secure status for the remainder of the season.

Expanding Across the Region

To reduce travel costs for players, we will stage back-to-back tournaments in Morocco and Jordan. The season will then conclude in the UAE and/or Qatar, creating a schedule of at least 12 tournaments, each carrying a $100,000 prize fund.

Pathways to the Global Stage

Finally, I am pleased to confirm that pathways and exemptions into other international Tours and their Qualifying Schools will be announced before the season begins, further strengthening our role as a proven pathway for professional golfers in the region.

I look forward to meeting you at our upcoming events and wish you every success for the season ahead.

Keith Waters,

Commissioner, MENA Golf Tour
