Stretching 6,317 metres off the championship tees, the par-72 layout is carved seamlessly through sand dunes and pine trees, with the Atlantic Ocean ever-present in the background. Hole 3 – a stunning par 4 running parallel to the beach – was singled out by Trent Jones himself as one of his finest creations, earning a place in his personal “ideal 18.” The closing hole, a sweeping par 5 dog-leg left, demands both nerve and accuracy, with an elevated green guarded by three deep front bunkers.
